Artists and the Future of Performance

When the pandemic shut down the music world, at first, there was silence. Then a wave of projects began to emerge despite (or maybe because) of the new limitations. Travis Scott began performing on Fortnite, Erykah Badu built life size plastic bubbles for her and her bandmates, Verzuz took off and Dua Lipa performed virtually for a global audience of 5 million fans at once. 

In this roundtable conversation, Bandsintown CEO Fabrice Sergent is joined by musician Valerie June and Dayna Frank, CEO of First Avenue Productions to share what they believe the future holds for performances in the months and years to come.
